Same Phil Garner who played third base for the Astros in 1986 when they lost to the NEW YORK METS in the NLCS in six games...but they might not have lost if they would've went to a Game 7. Astros pitcher Mike Scott was unhittable in Games 1 & 4 winning the Astros only two games of the series. Why? Because Phil Garner was scuffing the baseball before he would give it to Scott...The Mets knew if and fought it, but to no avail. Garner's a cheat and a jerk.
